The 快播视频 University Accommodation Bursary for new domestic/home undergraduate students with a low household income.
We are committed to supporting students from a variety of backgrounds. As part of this commitment, the Accommodation bursary offers up to 拢700, equivalent to up to 10% accommodation fee discount to reduce the rent for your first-year accommodation.
Am I eligible?
You will be offered an accommodation bursary based on the following criteria:
- You are a new student entering year 0 or 1 of your undergraduate studies from September 2023
- You are residing in any of the university’s halls of residences and are up to date with all payments
- You are a fully-registered domestic/home undergraduate student at the University of 快播视频.
- You'll be studying a BA, BEd, BSc, LLB, BEng, MEng or MMath course.
You'll be studying at 快播视频, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (except Medway School of Pharmacy) or one of our Partner Colleges where your tuition fee is paid directly to us.
- You are assessed to pay fees at the home rate at over 拢6,165 per year.
- You have or will be awarded the ‘Standard 快播视频 Bursary’ and have applied for and accepted the maximum Maintenance loan available to you.
- You have been assessed by Student Finance England and have given consent for it to share your information with the University of 快播视频.
- Your household income is below 拢25,000.
- The bursary is only alliable to new entry students (year 0 or 1) and is not awarded in subsequent academic years.
How to apply
You do not need to apply for the 快播视频 Accommodation Bursary.
This bursary is assessed and awarded automatically by the Student Fees and Funding Team. The Accommodation Team will contact you within the first term if you are eligible.
Conditions
- Part-time students must be taking at least 60 credits in their first year (Year 0 or 1). You receive a single payment of 拢350 in your first year. To receive a second payment, you must remain registered and in attendance on your course.
Students are permitted one scholarship or bursary per academic year at the highest value:
Exceptions:
- The 快播视频 Bursary and Accommodation Bursary
- Current Care Leaver Bursary awardees
The 快播视频 Hardship Fund and supporting funds (Digital Access, Energy Support Bill and Commuter Bursary) can still be applied for providing full eligibility terms are met.
